BANDH ‘NIGHT OUT’ FOR GOVERNMENT STAFFS AT KOLKATA

Webdesk, TNI Kolkata, 1st September, 2015: The Bandh called for some political parties tomorrow has become a reason to celebrate to some of the office goers at Kolkata especially for the Government Departments. Due to the strict directives issued by the Government and the anxiety of disruption of traffic, some of the office staffs have decided to stay in the office premises for averting the hassles of traffic disruption due to the bandh. The staffs belonging to offices of Nabanna, Bikash Bhawan, Writers, Water Resources department etc. stayed back in their offices along with their colleagues. However, it has turned to be a night out celebration of the staffs. This has not happened overnight, preparation was done at least a week before according to a staff member, who stays at Barasat and is now staying in the office to avert the traffic hassles. At least 90% staff members, who decided to stay at office premises belongs from suburban Kolkata. The night out is filled with time pass games like Cards, Carom, Chess, Anthakshari etc. Overall, it’s like an enjoyment of the staff members in between anxiety.
